Site Planning (FBO, SASO, and General Aviation)

For new development or expansion of an existing site, we will develop a site plan that identifies the best (most optimal) location and configuration for each building (executive terminal building, hangar, etc.), apron area, automobile parking area, and fuel storage facility.

Site Planning (Airport)

For new development or expansion of an existing site, we will develop a site plan that identifies the best (most optimal) location and configuration for each building (executive terminal building, hangar, etc.), apron area, automobile parking area, and fuel storage facility.

While airport master plans may designate which areas of the airport are available for FBO, SASO, and/or general aviation development, a detailed site plan is typically not provided. To this end, we work with airports (management, planners, and engineers), FBOs, and specialized aviation businesses to develop general aviation site plans (or facilitate the planning process).

Facility Programming

For new development or renovation of an existing facility, we will develop a theme (or motif) for the facility; determine the type, number, and size of the buildings (executive terminal building, hangar, etc.) that will be required to meet the needs of consumers; and identify the components of each building including furniture and fixtures.

In addition, we will work closely with your design team (architect and engineer) to ensure that all passenger, crew, and operations areas and amenities are properly (most optimally) located, sized, and configured.

Development Guidelines

In addition to outlining the process for developing tenant facilities (both commercial and non-commercial) at an airport, development guidelines provide the parameters governing the design, construction, and/or modification of such facilities. More specifically, development guidelines convey the airport’s design standards/criteria and construction policies/procedures.
