Experience
Paul Meyers, a principal of Aviation Management Consulting Group, has eighteen years of
aviation and management experience including FBO operations, air carrier operations,
integrated freight operations, employee training and development programs, and aviation
management consulting.
Education
Paul has an undergraduate degree in Business and Aviation Administration and a
Certificate in Commercial Transportation from California State University at Los Angeles.
In addition, Paul is a part time instructor at Metropolitan State College of Denver
(Aerospace Science Department) where he teaches a senior-level Aviation Management course.
He is also an instrument rated private pilot. |

including Airport Services Magazine, FBO Magazine/Airport Business Magazine, Airport
Magazine, Professional Pilot Magazine, and the NATA Business Management Newsletter. His
articles have addressed a variety of aviation (FBO and airport) topics and issues
including lease/use/operating agreements, lease/rates and charges policy, minimum
standards, and rules and regulations. |

given a number of presentations at industry trade shows, conventions, and conferences
including those held by the National Air Transportation Association (NATA), American
Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), Oregon Airport Manager's Association/Washington
Airport Manager's Association (OAMA/WAMA), Utah Airport Operator's Association (UAOA),
Southwest Chapter of AAAE (SWAAAE), Airport Consultants Council (ACC), and the National
Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA).
Some of the topics he has addressed include primary guiding
documents (lease/rates and charges policy, minimum standards, and rules and regulations),
general aviation issues and trends, financial performance, risk management, and
privatization. He has also served on several industry association committees.
For the past several years, on behalf of AAAE and in conjunction with the FAA, Paul and
Jeff have conducted a Primary Guiding Documents Workshop. This two-day workshop thoroughly
examines each of the primary guiding documents (lease/rates and charges policy, minimum
standards, and rules and regulations) which are considered essential to the operation and
management of an airport. |
