Introduction

 

Aviation Management Consulting Group (AMCG) has been engaged by Napa County (County) to develop and update the Primary Guiding Documents for the Napa County Airport (Airport).  Primary Guiding Documents consist of General Provisions, General Aviation Minimum Standards, General Aviation Leasing/Rents and Fees Policy, Rules and Regulations, and Development Guidelines.

 

Throughout this process, AMCG has obtained input from a variety of sources to gain a better understanding of the Airport and the marketplace.  To this end, AMCG has compiled information on the products, services, and facilities currently being offered at the Airport.  This was an essential step in the development process.

 

This website is intended to provide interested parties with an overview of the project.  This website will be updated periodically to reflect the status of the project and convey other pertinent information.  For additional information regarding AMCG, you are invited to visit our website (www.aviationmanagement.com.)

 

Kick-off Meeting and Interviews

 

To initiate this project, AMCG interviewed and surveyed the commercial aeronautical operators and non-commercial aeronautical lessees at the Airport to solicit input as it pertains to the development of Primary Guiding Documents.

 

Draft Documents

 

Utilizing the information/data provided by the County, the commercial aeronautical operators and the non-commercial aeronautical lessees at the Airport, and based upon the information/data obtained by AMCG, Primary Guiding Documents were drafted for the Airport. 

 

AMCG is currently soliciting comments and input from commercial aeronautical operators, non-commercial aeronautical tenants, and other interested parties regarding the draft Primary Guiding Documents.  All interested parties are encouraged to provide specific comments and input for the County's consideration.

Comments and Input

 

The review period will close on February 28, 2010 at 3:00 PM (Pacific).  Please provide your comments and input pertaining to the Primary Guiding Documents by clicking on the link below.

 

Following the culmination of the review period, the County will review and respond to all comments received.  Additionally, a public meeting will be scheduled to discuss any additional comments and input for consideration.  Following the public meeting, the draft Primary Guiding Documents will be revised in response to the comments and input received.
